I have shared an easy and quick recipe of pakora below with a detailed pictures.
In a pressure cooker add red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder.
Add mutton pieces and water .Cover the lid and cook until the mutton gets tender.
In a mixing bowl add gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, rice flour, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste and baking soda and pepper powder.
Pour little water to make a thick batter. Dip the mutton in a batter and deep fry them until it’s golden brown.
Place them in an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 kg boneless mutton pieces
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt as needed
For a batter
- 1 cup gram flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Salt as needed
- Oil for deep frying
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash and clean the mutton pieces.
- In a pressure cooker add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and turmeric powder add mutton pieces pour little water cover the lid, pressure cook for 4_5 whistles until the mutton gets tender.
- In a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour,salt , baking soda, red chilli powder, pepper powder pour little water to make a thick batter.
- Dip the mutton pieces to the batter , deep fry them until it turns crisp.
- Place them in an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
