Creamy Butter Pasta is a latest version of butter chicken masala.This Indian style pasta recipe is quick and easy to make and delicious!! It was a purely experimental and turned out to be one of the best pasta. kids love it!

 

I have shared a creamy Butter Pasta in a step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a wok heat oil add sliced onions saute until the onions changes transculent, add  garlic paste saute till the raw aroma goes away. Add chopped tomatoes and cashews saute on a medium heat till the tomatoes changes soft and tender.

Add red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well. Remove from the heat. Allow to cool.

In a blender add onion mixture blend to a fine puree. Melt butter in a wok pour the puree. Stir in frequent intervals and cook for few minutes.

Add fresh cream and sugar. Mix well.

Add macroni /pasta to the boiling water sprinkle with salt . Cook for 8-10 minutes or until done.

Place a colander in the kitchen sink and drain your pasta. Add cooked pasta to creamy butter sauce , add sweet corn.

Sprinkle with crushed kasuri methi and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams macroni / pasta
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • salt as needed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 6-7 cashews
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1-2 tablespoon sweet corn ( optional)
  • 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek leaves/ kasuri methi

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well. Remove from the heat. Allow to cool.

Recipe note

  •  You can add chicken pieces in the recipe for more delicious in taste. I have made for kids breakfast not prefer chicken in the morning.
  • sweet corn is an optional.
  • Instead of cream you can replace with 2-3 tablespoon of milk.
