Easy Aloo Sabji Recipe

Aloo sabji is easy and quick recipe to prepare for kids lunch box. No onion, no garlic this simple and instant recipe can be prepare with in few minutes. This recipe is a comfort food for the beginners to cook in a easy way.

I have shared an instant aloo sabji recioerin step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a non stick pan or kadai add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, cumin powder and thick yogurt.

Add olive oil or vegetable oil. Mix well.

Wash peel and cut the potatoes add them to the yogurt mixture, mix well till the potatoes and masala combines together.

Now place the potatoes on a medium heat . Cover the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes. Stir in frequent intervals to avoid burning. If required sprinkle with a tablespoon water. Cover and cook the potatoes until it turns soft.

Sprinkle with garam masala powder. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice or phulka. Aloo sabji is best served as side dish for rice. And kids love in their tiffin!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon  thick yogurt
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Coriander leaves

INSTRUCTIONS
