Homemade Buttered Sweet corn Recipe

Butter Sweet Corn, a classic snacks that is now so much a part of the Indian Street food snacks, That is easily made at home.  Ideally the corn should serve hot or warm. Buttered corn doesn’t taste good with room temperature or cold. You can add extra spices like red chilies, pepper powder, coriander leaves or spices of your choice to make masala corn.

I have shared an easy sweet corn recipe in a step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

Sweet Corn can be boiled in a pressure cooker . In a pressure cooker pour 4 cups of water. Place a stand and keep the corn.

Pressure cook for 2 whistle. As pressure released open the lid. Allow it to cool.

Slice off the corn kernels from the cob. Take the corn kernels in a mixing bowl add butter, salt and sprinkle with chat powder.

Microwave the corn for a minute or two. Mix the melted butter very well with the corn kennels. Alternatively, you can melt butter in a pan add corn and let it simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove in a bowl and serve corn immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 sweet corn cob
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Chat masala powder ( optional)
