Cauliflower Paratha | Gobi Paratha

Gobi Paratha is a Popular North Indian Cuisine Paratha is often made for breakfast in Punjabi homes . The Process of making Gobi Paratha is similar to other parathas like Aloo Paratha . Cauliflower stuffing taste delicious .

I have shared Gobi paratha recipe in step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a wide mixing bowl add wheat flour, Salt  Oil and mix well.

Add water to knead the fine dough.

Cover the dough with a plate rest it for 15 minutes at room temperature.

Wash the cauliflower in warm water . Check insects in the Cauliflower pieces if there ,  discard that part.

Grade the Cauliflower pieces using a fine grater.

Heat Oil in a pan add grated or chopped ginger . Saute till the raw smell goes away.

Add chopped spring onions . Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add grater cauliflower and salt mix well . Add Red chili powder ,Turmeric Powder , Cumin Powder ,Garam Masala Powder , Cook until the cauliflower mixture turn soft.

Add the remaining green spring onions and chat masala powder . Mix well and cook for a minute . Remove from heat.

Divide the dough into small portions , make flat Patti . Stuff the Patti with cauliflower mixture in the center.

Enclose it by pulling all round surface towards top , Seal the edges and again give a round shape of ball.

Dust with flour and roll it out into a stuffed paratha of having approximate half centimeter thickness . Heat the Tava over medium flame place the paratha.

Flip and spread Oil/Ghee evenly on each side with the help of brush or spoon.

flip and cook until golden brown spots appears on both sides.

Transfer Gobi Paratha to a plate and spread ghee or butter on it .

INGREDIENTS

To knead the dough

  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Water

Cauliflower stuffings

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2-3 spring onions
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chat powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • Salt as needed
  •  Fresh chopped Coriander leaves

INSTRUCTION :
