Spring roll recipe

Spring rolls are a famous starter in indo chinese restaurants.Its a great snacks for kids tiffin boxes.

Spring rolls are crispy outside with a tasty stuffings inside.I have used both chicken and veggies for stuffing.you can also add boiled noodles for a better taste.

I have shared an spring wrap sheets with an easy and delicious recipe with the step by step method and a detailed pictures below.

In a blender add coriander leaves , green chillies, yogurt blend it to a smooth paste.

In a sauce pan add chicken,salt ,Ginger garlic paste and green chilli paste,oil . cook till the chicken changes tender.Allow it to cool.

Shred the chicken add carrots , cabbage, sweet corn and spring onions.

In a deep bottom vessel add whole wheat flour,maida ( all purpose flour) oil,salt and water.knead the firm dough .let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough in to small lemon size portion.Roll the dough as a small circles.

Apply oil on one side of roti ,arrange the roti in to layers.roll the roti again in to one big paratha.Heat the tawa and cook the roti on both the sides.

As soon as the rotis are cooked.you can see the layers of the sheets .Remove the roti sheets in to single piece for the spring roll.Tge wraps sheets are ready.

Place the chicken stuffs in the center fold the sheets on both the sides,roll them,apply maida batter on the other end to seal the spring rolls.Deep fry the spring rolls.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 250gm
  • Carrots 1 cup
  • Cabbage 1 cup
  • Spring rolls 2 strands
  • Green chillies 2
  • Coriander leaves
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Sweet corn 1/4 cup
  • Salt as needed

For Dough:

  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Water

Instructions:

  • For the dough:
  • In a deep bottom pan add maida,wheat flour ,salt and oil pour water to knead the firm dough .Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough in to small portions roll the dough in to small circles.Apply oil in every circle .Arrange the roti in to layers .Roll the small roti in to one big roti.Heat the tawa partly cook roti on both sides in just one flip.you can see the five different sheets in one big roti..
  • Remove them in to single sheets
  • For chicken stuffings:
  • In a blender add green chillies,coriander leaves,salt,yogurt blend to a smooth paste.
  • In a sauce pan add the above paste,green chillies,oil cover the lid cook the chicken until it gets tender.Allow it to cool . Shred the chicken Add carrots ,cabbage,spring onions sweet corn mix well and keep aside.
  • Place the chicken stuffings in the center fold on both the sides roll tightly apply maida batter on the other end to seal the rolls.
  • In a kadai heat oil .deep fry the spring rolls till golden brown.
