Garlic chicken recipe


Garlic chicken recipe in Indian style. Hot, spicy and flavorful is one of my favorite Chinese dish goes well with fried rice and hakka noodles.

Step by step method to prepare an easy garlic chicken recipe.

In a bowl add Ginger garlic paste, salt, corn flour, Maida(all purpose flour) , egg white.

Add ice cold water to prepare a batter add baking powder whisk well.

Add chicken pieces to the batter.mix well.

Heat oil in a deep bottom pan add chicken pieces to it. Deep fry the chicken till it turns crisp.

In another pan heat oil, add chopped garlic to it.

Add chopped onions saute till tender.

Add soysauce, green chillies. Cook on a low flame.

Add fried chicken to it.

Add tomato ketchup stir well.

Add cornstarch, pepper to thickened the sauce.

Add orange juice for the nice and juicy flavor.

Ingredients :

  • Chicken breast 2
  • Garlic cloves 8no
  • Salt as needed
  • Green Chillies 2
  • Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Orange juice 1/4 cup
  • Cornstarch 1 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Pepper powder 2 tsp
  • Chopped onion 2 no.
  • Chicken breast 2
  • All purpose flour( maida) 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Salt as needed
  • Ice cold water 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Mix all the above dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add egg white and ice cold water to make a batter. Add chicken pieces.
  • Deep fry the chicken till the chicken turn crisp. Keep aside.
  • In a deep bottom sauce pan add chopped garlic, onions saute till it changes transparent.
  • Add soy sauce, green chillies. Add crisp chicken pieces to it.
  • Add cornstarch, pepper powder and ketchup stir well.
  • Finally add orange juice. For a nice and juicy flavor.
  • Serve chicken in a bowl. Garnish with sesame seeds
