Egg Pancakes are a thin flat bread, this is easy pancake recipe makes light and crispy  pancake with egg stuffing  that are great for a weekend brunch. The pancake shape and structure varies world wide pancake can be made in many other fillings like sweet or savory.

I have shared a Egg Pancake in a step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a wok heat oil add onions saute till the onions changes transparent, add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder. Stir well.

In a bowl add 4 eggs whisk well.

Add the beaten eggs spread evenly. Cook on a low flame.

Once the eggs are cooked, scrambled the eggs. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.

In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, all purpose flour,salt, red chili powder and a pinch of turmeric powder.

Add egg and water to make a batter.

Whisk in a hand beater. Make a slightly thin consistency.

In a hot tawa pour batter. swirl around the pan.

Apply oil flip on the other side to cook on both sides.

Stuff the eggs in the centre.

Cover from one side.

Cover from all sides.

Make the pancakes with the remaining batter.

Place the Pancakes in a hot tawa apply oil. Flip on both sides till the pancake turns crisp.

Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium size onions
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 4 eggs
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil

For Batter

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • A pinch turmeric powder
  • Water

INSTRUCTIONS
