Cluster bean Curry Recipe

Cluster beans is a dry Sabji that combines beautifully with phulka and rice. The benefits of fibre rich cluster beans are enhanced by the introduction of garlic, It’s good for diabetics and heart.

I have shared a simple and easy recipe of cluster beans Sabji in a step by step method with a detailed pictures below.

In a saucepan boil a cup of water add cluster beans bring it to a boil. Remove from heat and strain the water.cut the beans and keep aside.

In a wok or kadai heat oil add chopped garlic to it.

Add sliced onions, salt ,  saute till the onions changes transparent.

Add red chilli powder, turmeric Powder and cumin powder. Stir well.

Now add the cluster beans mix well. Cover with a lid and again cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot with phulka or rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 kg cluster beans
  • 4_5 garlic cloves
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a wok or kadai heat oil add garlic cloves saute until the raw smell goes away.
  • Add onions, salt,  saute until the onions changes to transparent. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder. Stir well.
  • Now add the cluster beans mix well. Cover with a lid and again cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with phulka or rice.
