Eggless Black Forest Cake

Among the most popular birthday party cakes in India, Black Forest Cake is favorite among kids. This cake is originated from Germany. The cake is decorated with additional whipped cream, cherries and chocolate shavings. In some European Traditions sour cherries are used both between the layers and for decorating the top.

I have shared a step by step method to prepare a tempting Eggless black forest cake with a detailed pictures below.

Place the ingredients ready before we begin to bake.  Measure all purpose flour, melt butter, measure the baking powder and icing sugar.

In a mixing bowl place the sieve add all purpose flour, icing sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking sodaAdd all the wet ingredients simultaneously. Add condensed milk, melted butter, vanilla essence and water.

Mix gently. Now whip in a hand mixer for 3-4 minutes.

Grease the baking pan with the butter, pour the cake batter .tap the sidesof the cake pan so that extra air bubbles are let out. Pre heat the oven in 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes . Place the cake batter in the oven .Bake the cake for 30 minute

Bake the cake for 30 minutes.

Remove the cake from the cake pan. Place them in a rack . prick the cake with the help of fork.

In a saucepan add cherries and granule sugar pour little water. cook until the sugar dissolves and the syrup slightly thickens.

Pour the cheery syrup in a jar.

Pour the cheery syrup in the cake. This will help to softened the cake.

In a chilled vessel add cream powder and ice cold water. whip  the cream in  a low speed.

Whip the cream for 5-7 minutes.

whip the cream until you will get a soft peaks Refrigerate the cream for 15 minutes. Spread the cream evenly on all over the cake. topped with cherries. sprinkle grated chocolate on top.

  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 400 grams condensed milk
  • 100 grams  melted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 200 grams whipped cream powder
