The very best Banana Bread is so easy to make! This is my absolute favorite recipe for using up bananas, it’s soft, moist, and bursting with banana, sugar, and cinnamon flavors(optional). Slathered with melted butter it’s perfect alongside a hot cup of coffee for breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

4 Ripe Bananas,

lightly mashed 1/2 Cup or 50g Butter (room temperature)

1 3/4 Cup All purpose flour/maida

1 Cup Granulated Sugar

2 Eggs

1/4 Cup Milk

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 Cup Chopped Almonds

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a bowl add butter whisk until its completely smooth. now add sugar mix well. Now add mashed bananas, eggs,milk and vanilla essence stir well.

In another bowl sieve all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix with the liquid ingredients, fold with spatula.

Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes (175°C), or until a toothpick or wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. A few dry crumbs are okay; streaks of wet batter are not. If the outside of the loaf is browned but the center is still wet, loosely tent the loaf with foil and continue baking until the loaf is fully baked.

Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let cool completely before serving. Slice and serve.

Wrapped well, the banana bread will keep at room temperature for 4 days. For longer storage, refrigerate the loaf up to 5 days,
